Calculator Requirement Information

The Saint Patrick Math and Science Departments require students to have a TI-83 or TI-84 calculator. Both calculators are essentially the same, but the TI-84 is a newer model. After using these calculators throughout high school, students will continue to utilize them in college. Students will also be able to use these calculators on math and science tests at Saint Patrick and on standardized tests including the ACT and SAT; iPads, or any other mobile devices, are not allowed. You have the option to purchase a TI-83 or TI-84 before the start of the school year. You can purchase them through any retail venue, many of which will have sales on them as the summer begins, or you can purchase them used on such sites as Amazon or other commerce sites. On the first day of school they are required to bring it to their math class.
