WEIGHT ROOM
Coach Ellis will open the Weight Room Monday-Thursday from 3:00 – 4:30 P.M. for any students, including student athletes who are not currently in season, and faculty/staff members who would like to take advantage of the opportunity to set and attain nutritional/fitness goals.  Times will vary for special schedules/holidays and will be communicated.  You can work your own individual program or follow the daily workout of the day (WOD) which will be a mix of weight training/HIT Training/Cardio.  If you are interested, please see Coach Ellis in Room 23 or send him an email at sellis@stpatrick.org to be added to the group.

SHAMROCK WRITING CHALLENGE
The Shamrock Writing Challenge is back for another round.  The October challenge is based on the phrase “Don’t open the door!”  This is a common line from horror movies, which are popular at this time of year.  While you don’t have to write a horror story for this challenge, create a story where the phrase “Don’t open that door” appears.  Stories should be no more than 500 words.  Papers are due TODAY by 2:45 P.M.  The winner receives a pass to go to the front of lunch line and get a free beef sandwich.  See your English teacher to sign up.  Start working on your stories now, and remember: Don’t open that door!

SHAMROCK SHOP
If you have missed out on the past years Christmas Sweatshirt they are now available in the Shamrock Shop for the low price of $15!  The holidays are right around the corner so get your today!!

THE SCHOOL OF ART INSTITUTE
The School of Art Institute (SAIC) offers Early College Program Courses for students aged 14-18.  These classes are taught online and in-person during the week and over the weekend.  Semester course registration is ongoing.  The Early College Program Courses at SAIC are great!  We have had several students participate in this program.  And….this program could be free for YOU thanks to a generous SAIC scholarship for parochial students.  Interested?  Please see Ms. Blatchley and she will navigate you through the process.
