STUDENT COUNCIL COLLECTION FOR OPEN ARMS MINISTRY MENS SHELTER
Student Council is calling on the Shamrock community to help collect items for the Open Arms Ministry Men’s Shelter. Collections starts Monday for the following items: toiletries, socks, underwear, gently used jackets, shoes, clothing (including new masks), and book bags.  Please drop donations off near the Atrium doors or main doors on Belmont Ave. as you enter school in the morning.  We will also have a drop off outside the Atrium doors on Saturday, October 10 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. for students who are full-time remote learning and for our Shamrock community to donate.  There will be a Dress Down Day for the group (Green vs Gold) who brings in the most items!

SPIRIT WEEK T-SHIRT CONTEST
Plans are underway for Spirit Week and you can design this year’s t-shirt! The winning design will be featured on the t-shirt worn by all students during Spirit Week. Submit your St. Pat’s school appropriate design to Ms. Sloan at jsloan@stpatrick.org by Friday, October 9 to be included in the school-wide vote. If you have any questions, see Ms. Sloan or Ms. McBride.

MAKER CLUB
Attention Maker Club members (formerly 3D Printing Club): check your email for an important reminder from Mrs. Esola regarding Makerbot’s design contest. The deadline for the contest has been extended to October 12th. Be sure to read Makerbot’s guidelines for submitting your design as they have some specifications you need to follow in order to qualify. Good Luck to all designers!

DRESS CODE REMINDER
Shamrocks, this is another reminder that all crew neck or quarter zip sweatshirts or jackets worn in the building during the school day must be Saint Patrick. No hoodies may be worn except on Spirit Days. Hoodies on Spirit Days must also be Saint Patrick. Also, student ID’s must be worn at all times. Failure to adhere to the dress code or wear your student ID could result in a fine.
