The Saint Patrick community sadly mourns the death of Chet Kondratowicz, the school’s former Director of Fine Arts Programming.
Through the years, Kondratowicz was a mentor and friend to the Theatre Department. His work with the Joseph Jefferson Awards Committee in Chicago and extensive relationships with professional theatre artists allowed for many connections to the Chicago theatre industry for Saint Patrick students.
Kondratowicz was also the key organizer of the Lasallian Lounge concert series. He will be dearly missed for his humor, his critical eye and his strong leadership.
Kondratowicz’s wake will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave.
