HAERTHER SCHOLARS SERVICE PROJECT
Our Haerther Scholars are organizing a community service project on February 3rd where students from five other schools will meet in our atrium to learn more about the plight of homeless veterans, and put together care packages. Our religion classes will be collecting travel-size toiletries, and we are also purchasing winter gloves, socks, and hand warmers to be given out. You can help by either donating travel-size items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant), or by making a small monetary donation.
KAIROS RETREAT
All seniors attending the February 4th – 7th Kairos Retreat, please pick up our permission form from Ms. McBride in Room 205 as soon as possible.
POLAR PLUNGE
Everyone is invited to join Lasallian Youth on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at North Avenue Beach to take the polar plunge into Lake Michigan and celebrate the 20th anniversary of this Chicago winter tradition that supports the Chicago Special Olympics. To pick up a form and register, please see Mrs. Wood, Mr. Perez, or James Caprio. The deadline to register is February 10.
