The Saint Patrick cross country team has qualified for the Fenton Sectional.
The Shamrocks finished sixth as team in the St. Viator Regional on Saturday, Oct. 22, behind a strong fourth-place finish from senior Jesse Resendez (16:26).
Seniors Ryan Zimny-Schmitt finished 13th with a time of 17:08 and fellow senior Cyrus Montanez came in 25th in 17:49. Junior Peter Sakkos recorded a 27th-place finish in 17:52 and senior Austin Behrendt came in 39th with a time of 18:31.
The Shamrocks will now run in the Fenton Sectional at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
