Walt Schmit ’49 Shamrock 9 Golf Outing

The Alumni Board of Saint Patrick High School is pleased to announce that the 5th annual Shamrock 9 Golf Outing will be held at Salt Creek Golf Club in Wood Dale IL on Sunday, September 20, 2020. We are even more pleased to announce that the event has been renamed the “Walter T. Schmit ’49 Memorial Shamrock 9 Golf Outing” in honor of a man we just recently lost. but whose selfless dedication to the school and its mission exemplified what it meant to be a true Shamrock. We invite you to participate in the event in any way that you may be able.
When: Sunday, September 20. Arrival time is 9:00 a.m. “Shotgun” tee-off is at 10 a.m, and lunch will follow
Where: Salt Creek Golf Club, 1051 N. Prospect, Wood Dale, IL 60191.
Who: St. Pat’s alumni, parents, friends, and friends of friends
Why: To raise funds for St. Pat’s tuition assistance program
Cost: $50 per person which includes 9 holes of golf with motorized carts, followed by lunch on a spacious patio (weather permitting)
Format. Nine holes of golf will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., with lunch served afterward. Half the field will play the blue course and half the field will play the white course in a “scramble” format. On-course contests, raffles and prizes will be offered.

Deadline: Registration deadline for golf is September 10. The deadline for sponsorship submission is September 4.
Non golfers and those who are unavailable on that date can participate either as volunteers or sponsors.
All proceeds of this event will go to the Walter T. Schmit ’49 Memorial Scholarship Fund to assist in providing financial assistance to worthy St. Pat’s students.
