As we continue to monitor the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff remains our highest priority. As per Governor Pritzker’s Stay-at-Home Order and state-wide school closings through Monday, April 6, Saint Patrick High School will remain on a Cyber Day schedule through Wednesday, April 8 with Easter Break scheduled for Thursday, April 9 through Friday, April 17 . All athletic events and extracurricular activities (including practices and rehearsals) remain canceled. In addition, the building and its surrounding grounds remain closed and off limits until further notice.
It is important to note that there are no reported cases of the virus or contact with someone who has been exposed to COVID-19 in the Saint Patrick community. All steps are being taken as precautionary and in conjunction with federal, state and local recommendations and law. We continue to pray for the Saint Patrick family, all those impacted by the virus, the caregivers, doctors, and nurses who are caring for them, and especially for those who are without access to medical and community support.
It is our goal is to communicate with families quickly and openly so that you may plan accordingly. We will do this through email and the school’s automated phone system, as needed. If you are a parent of a student at Saint Patrick and not receiving school emails, please contact Jennifer Sloan, Director of Communications, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please see below for ongoing communications sent to families, additional event changes and cancellations, Cyber Day procedures, information on Church worship and helpful resources.

With public Masses suspended throughout the Archdiocese, we wanted to provide you with some means of participating in regular worship of the Church:
– The Archdiocesan Mass at Mercy Home is broadcast on Sundays at 9:30 AM on WGN. It can also be viewed at: https://www.mercyhome.org/
– EWTN broadcasts Masses at various points throughout the day. The schedule may be found here: http://www.ewtn.com/
– You can also make an Act of Spiritual Communion by praying the following prayer:
An Act of Spiritual Communion
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You Sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
