Grace was born and raised on Long Island, NY where she attended Catholic grade school and high school. She went on to attend the University of Scranton, a Jesuit University in Pennsylvania.
After college Grace moved to New York City where she was a municipal bond broker. It was through this business that she met her husband, Doug, and moved to Chicago. Grace continued to work as a bond broker and salesperson until she and Doug began their family. They have raised their three sons in Chicago and all have attended Saint Clement grade school, St. Ignatius and St. Pat’s.
Grace and Doug have been avid supporters of the Phoenix Program at St. Pat’s. In addition, Grace has served on the Parish Council at Saint Clement and multiple fundraising and capital campaign committees. She currently serves a hospice volunteer at JourneyCare, the largest nonprofit provider of palliative, and supportive care in Illinois.
