Rev. Msgr. Daniel G. Mayall
Monsignor Mayall, ordained an Archdiocesan priest in 1977, is currently Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Wilmette, where he was installed in 2016.
His previous ministries within the Archdiocese of Chicago include Deacon at Queen of Angels Church; Associate Pastor at St. Eugene and St. Paul of the Cross parishes; resident priest at Our Lady of Victory parish while a faculty member and administrator at Quigley High School Seminary North for twelve years (1978-1990), teaching Speech, English, American History, and Religion plus coaching baseball; pastor at St. Francis Borgia Church, 1993-2001; and finally pastor at Holy Name Cathedral, 2002-2016, where he personally has participated in Saint Patrick High School graduations since 2002.
While at St. Francis Borgia, Monsignor Mayall was also Dean of Deanery IV-A, 24 northwest side and suburban parishes; and he also sat on the Board of Directors at Mother Theodore Guerin High School. During his tenure at Holy Name Cathedral, he was Dean of the 11-parish Deanery II-D (2003-2010); a member of the Frances Xavier Warde School Board of Trustees; and a member of the Children at the Crossroads Foundation Board. He holds a B.A. Degree in Communication Arts from Loyola University, an M.Div in Theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake, and an M.A. Degree in Speech from Northwestern University.
Monsignor Mayall in 2011 gladly accepted nomination to the Saint Patrick High School Board of Trustees and remains pleased to serve as a “member of the family” at a Catholic school for which he has the highest admiration and respect.
