Brian P. DeGustino ’91
Brian is a 1991 graduate of Saint Patrick, and during his high school years he was both a standout student and football player during his four years with us. He is one of the very few Saint Patrick students who attended Harvard University, and he was recruited to that Ivy League University for his athletic prowess and his academic potential.
Brian received his BA Degree in Economics, specializes in Quantitative Finance, and is currently a partner and trader in Mercator, LLC, a company he co-founded in 1999. Prior to Mercator, he worked for BNP CooperNeff as an F/X options trader.
Brian believes that his good professional and educational experience will bring a unique perspective to the Board, that his analytical and intuitive instincts will benefit the Board’s decision-making processes, and that his sound judgment about both situations and people are assets he can bring to the table.
When asked why he would be interested in becoming a Saint Patrick Trustee, he writes, “I respect and value the service that Saint Patrick High School provides to the community and society as a whole. It provides students from all walks of life the foundation to succeed both spiritually and professionally. I want to ensure that legacy is preserved.”
Brian and his wife Amy live in the NW suburbs with their two children, Abigayle and John. He is an avid golfer, and a member of the Board of Directors at the Ivanhoe Club.
