BLOOD DRIVE
The second semester Saint Patrick Blood Drive is Tuesday, February 27th. That’s just two weeks away. Please consider being a blood donor. Students 16 and older are eligible to give blood with parental consent. What a better way to “Give Alms” during the Lenten season than to give life by giving blood. A Single blood donation SAVES THREE LIVES WITHIN THREE DAYS OF DONATION. The Blood Drive Team will be visiting A periods all this week asking for sign-ups. The team will also have sign-up sheets available during lunch periods. You can also sign up with Ms. McMahon in Room 104.
HOCKEY TEAM
Shamrock Hockey team will face off against Notre Dame on Saturday at 4:00 P.M. at the Mount Prospect Ice Arena.
INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL
IM Basketball returns this TODAY and TOMORROW. All players should report to the gym before going to the cafeteria. The games are getting very intense. See you there.
TRACK TEAM
Want to play a college sport? Did you know most college and professional athletes were multi-sport athletes in high school? Join the track team and throw shot put/discus. Any students interested in throwing shot put/discus this spring for the track team please meet in the weight room Monday, February 19th at 4:00 P.M. for an informational meeting. All defensive/offensive lineman and linebackers are expected to join. Any questions contact Coach Csongradi.
HAVE A HEART
Quest Food Services is partnering with Ronald McDonald House to sell hearts to raise money for the kids. Hearts will be sold for .50 or 3 for a dollar to win hot lunches or snack baskets. The drawing will be on February 20th. Quest Food Services will match our donations. Please be generous!
SHAMROCK ACT PREP CLASS
To all juniors – sign up for Shamrock ACT Prep class is now open. A sign-up sheet is in Room 100. The cost of the class is $150.00 and will begin March 5th. Please see Mr. Geraghty if you have any questions.
