CHITEEN FEST
This Saturday is the 2019 ChiTeen Fest for all Chicagoland teens ages 13-19. The event is being held at Columbia College from 10:00 A.M. – 6:30 P.M. The event is free to attend with over 30 programs including workshops, demos, readings, performances, and exhibits. Highlights include a panel discussion on cyber writing, learning how to promote your own music, and participating in a live streamed discussion on music and culture. Sign up at chiteenlitfest.org. BOOK DISCUSSION
Frosh/Soph Book Discussion meets TODAY for Reader’s Choice. It will be the last book discussion of the year. Bring your lunch to the Library Reading Loft during your lunch period and the copy of the book you chose to read. Mrs. Esola will provide dessert.
BASKETBALL MEETING
There will be a basketball organizational meeting on Wednesday, May 1st during all lunch periods in the Auxiliary Gym. Basketball camp dates, leagues, and counselor opportunities will be discussed. This is an extremely important meeting for anybody hoping to play basketball next year. Any questions see Coach Bailey.
BENEFACTORS’ LUNCHEON
The Benefactors’ Luncheon hosted by Dr. Schmidt is TOMORROW during Periods E, F, and G in the Atrium. Students who were invited to attend are reminded to wear a shirt and tie.

SUPER SMASH BROS TOURNAMENT
The Smash Brothers Tournament will take place this Saturday in the Atrium. Doors open at 9:30 A.M. By popular demand, we have added a division for Smash Brawl! Sign up using the QR codes on our posters. See you there!
HONORS JAZZ BAND AUDITIONS
Audition information has been posted for the 2019-2020 Honors Jazz Band. Any current freshman, sophomore, or junior may audition and information can be found in the band room. Auditions will be held the week of April 29th. Please see Mr. Glowinski with any questions.
