Varsity defeated Marian Catholic on Monday improving their record is 19-3 overall and 8-0 in conference play. With one conference game (and two regular season games) remaining, the Shamrocks are guaranteed the first soccer conference championship in school history. If they win against Nazareth Academy on Thursday (Senior Night), they will finish the regular season 9-0 in the conference and earn sole possession of the ESCC Championship.

The Shamrocks are currently ranked #15 in the state and #99 in the country.

The four leading points leaders are:

Joshua Torres ’21: 25 goals, 11 assists

LuisAngel Saucedo ’20: 15 goals, 14 assists

Jonathan “Pollo” Rodriguez ’20: 13 goals, 4 assists

Aaron Moreno ’20: 7 goals, 16 assists

The Shamrocks will play against against Maine East tomorrow (Wednesday, October 10) at Resurrection High School. Game time is 4:30 pm. The final regular season game vs. Nazareth Academy will be played on Thursday at Triton College. Game time is 6 pm.

Saint Patrick earned the #4 seed in the 3A Evanston Sectional and will play their first playoff game next Tuesday, October 16th at 5:00 pm against #13 seed Niles West at Loyola Academy.
