The Shamrocks soccer team won its first regional championship in eight years with a 3-0 defeat of Prosser on Friday, Oct. 21.

Saint Patrick’s goals were scored by Chris Modrzejewski ’18, Anthony Sannicandro ’17 and Thomas Krupa ’17. The Shamrock defensive unit of Krupa, Erik Jachym ’17, Jonathan Rodriguez ’20, Tim Kreidler ’17 and goalkeeper Chris Troyke ’18 limited Prosser to only one shot on goal the entire game.

St. Pat’s, seeded No. 3 in the Amundsen Sectional, will face No. 2 Fenwick in the sectional semifinal at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The winner of that game will play for the sectional title at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
