Saint Patrick (8-1) completed a sweep of Marian Central Catholic at home on Friday as all four levels defeated the Hurricanes with varsity winning 52-27 and improving their conference record to 2-0.

Sophomore Joe Fanning led the way with 14 points and five rebounds. Senior Chris Lara added 10 with junior Austin Freeman contributing 6 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

While happy with the win, head coach Mike Bailey feels his team needs to use this week to improve in all areas as they prepare for the York Holiday Tournament. “We always look forward, never backward,” he says. “We are trying to reestablish a culture of accountability – trust and togetherness. Entitlement is not tolerated. Team and individual improvement is the key.”

The Shamrocks will face Riverside-Brookfield in the York Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, December 26. Tip-off for the game at York Community High School is 5:00 pm.
