Four Saint Patrick student-athletes signed their Letters of Intent during National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Football players Paddy Byrne (Dayton), Andrew Edgar (Illinois State), and Jonathan Hamilton (West Point) will all play wide receiver at the next level, while baseball player Mike Coughlin will be an infielder at St. Ambrose.

Edgar and Hamilton were both All-Conference football players for the Shamrocks last season, while Byrne was selected as the team’s Most Valuable Offensive Players.

Coughlin is a two-time team captain for the St. Pat’s baseball team and was Honorable Mention All-Conference as a junior. He was also selected to the East Suburban Catholic Conference Senior Showcase Team.

Congratulations to these outstanding Shamrocks on their stellar careers both on and off the field.
