The Shamrocks finished regular season conference play in 1st place atop the Chicago Catholic League North Division. Varsity was 14-1 with their only loss in a close match where they took 2 out of 3 games but lost on pin count. Junior Varsity also finished in first place in the North Division.
Varsity (#1 in the North) went on to defeat Providence Catholic (#1 in the South) taking 2 games out of 3 and 7 out of 9 possible points in the Chicago Catholic League “North vs. South” tournament.
Varsity will compete for the Chicago Catholic League Conference Championship on Saturday, January 5 at Poplar Bowl. Saint Patrick will host Regionals at Habetler Bowl on Saturday, January 12.
