Saint Patrick High School is pleased to announce the following seven Shamrocks have been named Students of the Month for August/September 2021.

Name: Neil Bermeo
Year: Sophomore
Grade School: Our Lady of Grace
Reason for Nomination: Neil has been doing an excellent job teaching his classmates how to use the Circuit Machines for their art projects in the library’s Maker Lab. He has been making positive contributions to his Graphic Design class as well as making his own amazing designs.

Name: Jack Fuller
Year: Junior
Grade School: St. Thecla
Reason for Nomination: Jack is a member of the Varsity Football team and has shown great leadership both in school and on the field. He is on the honor roll and is always willing to help others.

Name: Fabian Morales
Year: Junior
Grade School: Acero Clemente
Reason for Nomination: Fabian is very helpful with his peers. He goes out of his way to make sure that his classmates understand the material being covered in class.

Name: Ryan Bender
Year: Senior
Grade School: St. Edward
Reason for Nomination: Ryan does a terrific job with morning announcements and his ability to play the bagpipes at school events is such a nice added touch. Not only that, but he is a great Shamrock who is always respectful to everyone he encounters.

Name: Jack Doelger
Year: Senior
Grade School: St. Juliana
Reason for Nomination: Jack is a Varsity Football and Basketball player. He is on the honor roll and involved in several activities including Art Club, Lasallian Youth and as a representative for Saint Patrick in the Chicago Archdiocese’s RISE for Racial Equity and Justice program. He excels in the classroom and is respected by his classmates and teachers.

Name: Karl Kohberger
Year: Senior
Grade School: St. Paul of the Cross
Reason for Nomination: Karl was a standout success this summer in his STEAM internship. He worked with a computer assisted design company and produced professional quality work on major contracts such as one with Verizon Wireless. His work this summer has set him up well for his future, both academically and professionally.

Name: Joey Shea
Year: Senior
Grade School: St. Giles
Reason for Nomination: Joey is an exemplary Shamrock in the classroom. He does his work well and finishes quickly and is always looking to lend a hand to any classmates who may need help.
