Saint Patrick High School is pleased to announce the following eleven Shamrocks have been named Students of the Month for April 2021.

Name: Cameron Mescall
Year: Freshman
Grade School: PFGA
Reason for Nomination: Cameron has been an excellent student all year long. He takes responsibility for his learning and is a willing participant in class. He has also been active in the school outside of the classroom by participating in cross country, soccer and track.

Name: Jason Torres
Year: Sophomore
Grade School: Rogers Elementary
Reason for Nomination: Jason is always on top of his classwork whether in person or remote!

Name: Sean Conway
Year: Junior
Grade School: PFGA
Reason for Nomination: Sean is a great student. He is respectful, he volunteers to lead prayer, participates well in class and turns in his work on time.

Name: Joseph Guerra
Year: Junior
Grade School: Oriole Park
Reason for Nomination: Joey is an outgoing and enthusiastic student. He is easy going, very open minded and always participates in class discussion. Joey is a member of the varsity football team, and was on the hockey club.

Name: Braden Kumiega
Year: Junior
Grade School: St. Juliana
Reason for Nomination: Braden is your all around great Shamrock student. He is on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society. He is a member of the Spanish Club and Mental Health Club and is on the varsity football team. Braden is also part of the Youth Ministry at his local church.

Name: Cameron Lajun
Year: Junior
Grade School: Disney II Magnet
Reason for Nomination: Cameron is a great student that typifies the Shamrock spirit. He is on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society. He is in Lasallian Youth and a member of the French Club.
He is also a member of the Bowling Team and Volleyball Team.

Name: Nicholas Walters
Year: Junior
Grade School: St. Celestine
Reason for Nomination: Nick is a hard working student who creates a positive atmosphere in class. He is on the honor roll, and is a member of the Track & Field team. Nick is a big asset to the Shamrocks.

Name: Kyle Bendersky
Year: Senior
Grade School: Elm Middle School
Reason for Nomination: Kyle is an excellent student to have in class. He always has insightful comments, works hard and definitely has a talent for Math, Business, Golf and his biggest pastime- cars.

Name: John Ryan
Year: Senior
Grade School: St. Monica Academy
Reason for Nomination: John is on the first honor roll and exemplifies the Shamrock spirit in school. He is well liked in the classroom by his teachers and classmates. He is also a member of the Volleyball team.

Name: Jack Summers
Year: Senior
Grade School: PFGA
Reason for Nomination: Senior Theology allows students to donate points to each other, within reason, as a practice in Solidarity between classmates. Jack’s academic excellence allowed him to donate more than twice as many points to fellow struggling Theology Shamrocks as the next highest point donor, and still have a class average above a hundred. Jack often made his point donations anonymously to students who only needed 1-2% to get the next letter grade. Thank you for your effort and your compassion to those who just need a little extra from life. Jack is the change he wants to see in the world.

Year: Senior
Grade School: Edison Park
Reason for Nomination: Andrew is a ery popular student and spirited Shamrock. He is on the honor roll and volunteers around school and at his local church. He excels in the classroom, always ready to give his opinion.
