Dear Family,

As a reminder, Saint Patrick High School will move to a Cyber Day schedule effective tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17) until further notice in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. During this time, all athletic events and extracurricular activities, including practices and rehearsals, are canceled. We will continue to utilize this time to perform enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of the school, including all hard surfaces.

School Building Availability
While it is expected that students should have their iPads, textbooks and workbooks at home for Friday’s Cyber Day, we will open the school building tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday morning from 7 am – noon for any student who needs to pick up additional materials or athletic equipment. Students and parents should enter through the Main Entrance.

Weekly Schedule
Per Governor Pritzker’s announcement on Friday, the school building will be closed until at least Monday, March 30th. We will communicate with families weekly as we evaluate our schedule on a week-by-week basis including the possible use of Professional Development Days and/or days off during this extended time. For the week beginning March 17, we will be on a Cyber Day schedule Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a previously scheduled day off on Friday, March 20.

Third Quarter Report Cards
Third Quarter Report cards will be posted to the Portal system on Thursday. Please see below for instructions to access your son’s report card.

Ongoing Communications
During this time, we will communicate via email and our automated phone call system, as needed. Please check your email regularly and visit our website at www.stpatrick.org/coronavirus-information/ for more information including a link to the Faculty/Staff Directory if you need to contact one of your son’s teachers or any staff member.

We continue to pray for the Saint Patrick family and all those impacted by this virus and thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding during this unprecedented time in our country and world. Please take care of yourselves and one another, and stay safe and healthy as we all get through this together.

God Bless,

Jon Baffico
