Dear Family,

As you are probably aware, Governor Pritzker announced a Stay-at-Home Order for the state of Illinois beginning at 5 pm today in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. In addition, the Governor announced state-wide school closings have been extended through Monday, April 6. As a result, our students will not return to school prior to Monday, April 20 with Spring Break scheduled for Thursday, April 9 through Friday, April 17.

At this time, the National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony scheduled for Sunday, April 5 is postponed. In addition, the Blood Drive and Art Show scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 are canceled. All school-related activities and events scheduled after April 8 remain on the school calendar, but are subject to change based on this ongoing and fluid situation.

Please know that our administration, faculty and staff are here to support you in any way we can during this time. We will communicate with families next week in regards to the schedule through April 8. Additional information remains available on our website at: https://www.stpatrick.org/coronavirus-information/

Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we all navigate through this unprecedented time in our country together. We are grateful to be a part of such a special community at a time like this and continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.

God Bless,

Jon Baffico
