Ten students from the Saint Patrick Art Club traveled to New York over Easter Break for a Visual Arts Tour.

The contingent of Shamrocks had the opportunity to see many of the amazing sights that the city has to offer, including: the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Empire State Building Observatory, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island, the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The planning process for the trip to NYC began nearly two years ago. Students participated in several fundraisers to help offset the cost of their trip. The trip was tightly scheduled with activities spanning the city. While in New York, the St. Pat’s group traveled on foot, by a coach bus and on the subway.

“We had a great time,” Art Club Sponsor Christi Blatchley said. “We came home exhausted and inspired, and can’t wait to plan another trip!”

The St. Pat’s students who made the trip to New York were: Tom Cozad, Ryan Downes, Kurt Kohberger, Anthony Kolodziej, Nick Kolodziej, Uly Ortega, Jacob Pacult, Matthew Petrovich, Andres Salvador, Erik Vargas. Blatchley and Pete Kohberger were the adult chaperones.
