Science Department

Saint Patrick High School’s Science Department offers its students varied opportunities and pathways of study.  Our department’s core courses, electives, and clubs immerse students in experiential learning, help them to developing meaningful STEM skills, and expose students to real world connections that will prepare them to be innovators of a 21st century economy and world. The curriculum is ever-evolving to be well aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).   Our standards based science courses present challenging learning experiences which are designed to improve reading, writing, communication, and analytical thinking skills. Skills learned in science courses increase a student’s chances of success in all areas of future study.  Teachers in the science department are dedicated to helping Saint Patrick students think deeply and be prepared to transform into future innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve challenges our world faces today and in the future.
