Alcohol and Drug Awareness Week
April 21-25
School sponsored activities during the week that will raise the awareness of our entire school community as to the dangers and consequences associated with the use of alcohol and/or drugs. Our goal is to help students gain a desire to say “no” as well as strategies to offset the power of peer pressure to participate in the use of alcohol and/or drugs.
Operation Prom
April 24th
This bi-annual program brings to life the dangerous consequences of choosing to drink and drive on Prom night. This event is coordinated through the efforts of the Chicago Police and Fire Departments, Illinois State Police, the City of Chicago Towing Department, The Sheldon Funeral Home, Resurrection and Holy Family Hospitals, and many faculty and staff members of Saint Patrick High School.
Any questions or inquiries regarding these programs can be directed to Emmett McGovern at emcgovern@stpatrick.org
