Any sophomore, junior or senior, who will be 15 years old by APRIL 1st, 2008 can sign up for this course now. The student will be assigned to a class after his 15th birthday.

Students should come to room 100 Student Services to sign-up now for this years classes. There will be a $50.00 fee (payable to Saint Patrick High School) due after HE IS ASSIGNED TO A CLASS. You will be assigned according to your age and sport activity that you are in.

There are two phases of the Drivers Education Course:

1. CLASSROOM - Each classroom session lasts about FOUR weeks and is held four days a week right after school at St. Pat's. New classes will be formed through out the school year. There is a $50.00 charge for this course. Checks can be made payable to Saint Patrick High School once you have been assigned a class.

2. BEHIND THE WHEEL - This driving range phase of the course is held at a public school range of your choice. The fee for this part of the program held in the city of Chicago is also $50.00. All other information will be given to the student when he is accepted into the class.

Students must also have passing grades to be eligible. They will be notified thru their homerooms and a list will be posted in the main lobby trophy case.
