National Honor Society
Moderators: Mr. Perez and Mr. Miller
To be allowed in the NHS is the highest honor a high school can give to the students. Excelling in Scholarships, Leadership, Character, and Service, NHS members are responsible for being of service at many school sponsored events such as Open House and the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. The NHS also assist faculty throughout the school year as well as tutoring students in need of extra assistance.
Open to students in their second semester of their sophomore year and above who have an a cumulative GPA of a 3.50 and above. Students who have this GPA are invited to apply for membership. Membership is then determined by a Faculty Selection Committee by March with an Induction that takes place in May.
