Academic Team

Moderator: Ms. Laughlin-Coach, Mr. Kucera-Assistant Coach

The academic team competes in a "quiz bowl" format against other schools in knowledge in the areas of Science, Math, History, Literature, Language, sports, and Current Events. The team attend several tournaments, including one that we host here; there is a party at the end of the season.

Anyone is welcomed to join, and there is no minimum GPA required. Academic team has a Varsity and a Junior Varsity squad. The season runs from October to March. There will be an informational meeting in September and practice is available twice a week. The attendance at practices and meets is flexible and the team schedule can work around other activities.
