Geoffrey Arndt’s professional theatre work ranges from management to design, specifically in assistant costume design, including THE LIFE, SIDESHOW, and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.
He holds a B.S. in Theatre Studies (Directing) and an M.S. in Theatre History and Criticism, both from Illinois State University. While at Illinois State, Geoffrey taught a break-out course called Experiencing the Theatre. He has worked as the Assistant to the Co-Chair of Region III’s American College Theatre Festival, and was the Co-coordinator for the American College Theatre Festival at ISU in January, 2006.
He has worked in academic theatre for the last nine years. He also is interested in new play development and dramaturgy, and he recently staged a new play called SNAKE OIL or KILBRIDE AND DELACORT’S FOREVER REMEDY. |
