Class of 2010 student-athlete Jim Ulczak will compete in the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska April 19-21. The St. Ambrose junior performed second-best for his team’s sectional qualifier and helped the Bees secure the third qualifying team spot.

The USBC Championships will be St. Ambrose’s first trip to nationals in the program’s three-year history. Ulczak was a four-year member of St. Pat’s bowling team. He led the Shamrocks to a 10-5 regular season record his senior year highlighted by a Chicago Catholic League Team Conference Championship, CCL All-Conference Honors and a state qualification after an IHSA Sectional Team Championship.

Ulczak is a graduate of St. Giles grammar school.
