Basketball team to grow from 3rd-place finish in Thanksgiving Tournament | December 02, 2016
The Saint Patrick basketball team is ready to build off a third-place at the Kurland Thanksgiving Tournament. The Shamrocks went 3-1 in the tournament, beating Glenbrook North by a score of 54-46 in the third place game. Prior to the final round of games, St. Pat’s defeated Chicago Math and Science, 81-38, and Payton, 50-24, but fell to DeLaSalle, 67-56.  READ MORE
Pair of music students selected for All-District Ensembles | November 16, 2016
Two Saint Patrick music students have been chosen for All-District Ensembles. Junior Oscar De Leon was selected to perform with the Illinois Music Education Association’s All District Concert Band, while sophomore James Adamczyk was chosen to perform with the IMEA's All-District Choir.   READ MORE
Galante steps down as Shamrocks football coach | November 15, 2016
Dan Galante has resigned as the head football coach at Saint Patrick High School. As the longest-tenured coach in the history of the Shamrocks football program, Galante compiled 77 wins and eight playoff appearances over his 16 seasons at the helm. Under his guidance, hundreds of St. Pat’s football players continued their football careers at the college level, and two were drafted into the NFL.   READ MORE
Swimmer Galante commits to IUPUI | November 14, 2016
Saint Patrick swimmer Dan Galante has committed to Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. The senior officially signed his letter of intent with IUPUI on Monday, Nov. 14, ensuring that his career in the pool will continue into his college years. Galante qualified for last year’s swimming state meet in two events, the 200- and 500-yard freestyles. He is also a member of the Shamrocks water polo team.   READ MORE

Resendez, Zimny-Schmitt run in state meet | November 06, 2016
Two Saint Patrick runners competed in the cross country state meet on Saturday, Nov. 5. Jesse Resenedez finished 92nd with a time of 16 minutes, 2 seconds, while fellow senior Ryan Zimny-Schmitt took 125th with a time of 16:23.  READ MORE
