Saint Patrick mourns loss of Kapolnek ’76 | April 25, 2017
Saint Patrick High School is mourning the death of Ronald G. Kapolnek ’76, a vital member of the Board of Trustees, who passed away on April 24. Kapolnek joined the board in 2012 and served as treasurer and chairman of the finance committee. He also played an important role in the establishment of the Tuition Rate Guarantee program, which ensures that the cost of tuition for families will not rise throughout a student’s four years at the school.   READ MORE
Art students travel to NYC over Easter Break | April 18, 2017
Ten students from the Saint Patrick Art Club traveled to New York over Easter Break for a Visual Arts Tour. The contingent of Shamrocks had the opportunity to see many of the amazing sights that the city has to offer, including: the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Empire State Building Observatory, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island, the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  READ MORE
Glorioso inducted into ESCC Hall of Fame | April 12, 2017
Saint Patrick High School Athletic Director Brian Glorioso is now a member of the East Suburban Catholic Conference Hall of Fame. Glorioso has been part of the St. Pat’s family for more than 40 years. He joined the Shamrocks as a physical education teacher and water polo coach in 1977 and was promoted to athletic director in 1993.   READ MORE
Apostolos ’13 lights Chance the Rapper's path to success | April 11, 2017
The “chance” to serve as lighting designer for an up-and-coming hip-hop artist has paid off for Mike Apostolos ’13. Apostolos had just finished an internship at Performance Lighting of Elk Grove and was eager for the opportunity to hit the ground running. While working as an intern at Performance, Apostolos was a lighting assistant to a few larger named acts and always had the goal in sight to work as a lead designer.  READ MORE
Five Shamrocks awarded Evans Scholarships | March 29, 2017
Five Saint Patrick High School seniors have received full tuition and housing college scholarships thanks to the Western Golf Association’s Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship. The scholarships – which are renewable for up to four years – are awarded to high school seniors who have a strong caddie record, excellent grades, outstanding character and demonstrated financial need.  READ MORE
Shamrocks Sweepstakes winners announced | March 24, 2017
Saint Patrick High School’s annual Shamrock Sweepstakes drawing was held on Friday, March 24. A total of $34,000 was awarded through the raffle, with 20 winners taking home prizes of various amounts – including a grand prize of $15,000. Kerr '90 to be inducted into ESCC Hall of Fame | March 14, 2017
Jonathan Kerr ’90 will be inducted into the East Suburban Catholic Conference Hall of Fame on April 6. Kerr, who is already a member of the Shamrock Hall of Fame, was a standout offensive lineman on the St. Pat’s football team. He was All-State Honorable Mention his senior year, as well as All-Area and All-Conference.  READ MORE
