Shamrocks set to return to Soldier Field for opener | June 21, 2017
The Shamrocks football team will be returning to Soldier Field to begin the 2017 campaign. Saint Patrick will open its season at the home of the Chicago Bears on Friday, Aug. 25, and will once again be taking on St. Rita. Freshman baseball team wraps historical ESCC season | May 17, 2017
The Shamrocks freshman baseball team has completed the most successful conference season in the history of the program. Saint Patrick won its last two game against Marian Central to conclude its East Suburban Catholic Conference schedule with a record of 14-4. The team finished with an all-time high winning percentage of .777.  READ MORE
Water polo tops Curie in sectional quarterfinals | May 12, 2017
Sophomore Robert Hernandez scored the game-winning goal in the Saint Patrick water polo team’s 7-6 victory over Curie in the semifinals of the Fenwick Sectional on Thursday, May 11. With the game tied at 6-6 Hernandez hit the game-winner with about 1 minute, 30 second left in the game and the Shamrocks were able to hold on for the victory. St Pat’s had been playing from behind for the majority of the contest and had only tied the game midway through the fourth quarter.  READ MORE
Edobor ’18 named ESCC Track AOTY; Shamrocks 4th in conference | May 11, 2017
Junior Avan Edobor was selected as the East Suburban Catholic Conference’s Track Student-Athlete of the Year following a strong performance at the ESCC meet in May 10. Edobor won the triple jump (42-2) and 200-meter dash (23.97) at the meet, and took second place in the 100-meter dash (11.69) and the long jump (20-6). St. Pat’s took fourth place at the conference meet as a team score of 63. Benet Academy finished first with 127 points, followed by Marist with 126 and Notre Dame with 89.  READ MORE
Shamrocks save 369 lives by donating blood | May 10, 2017
A group of 28 Saint Patrick seniors will be recognized with a special red cord at graduation for donating four or more units of blood throughout their tenure at the school.  READ MORE
Art students create new murals for school | May 09, 2017
Students from the Saint Patrick art program have created murals that can now be seen hanging in the school. Two of the murals have been placed in the art corridor, while the third mural hangs near the entrance to the pool. The art students used these locations to inspire their ideas. The project began as a sketchbook assignment and then progressed into collaborative work drawn to size on paper. Students continued to cooperate and collaborate as they worked together to solve the design challenge.   READ MORE
