Medline Plus A service of the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. The website provides drug information on different types of substance abuse.

National Institute on Drug Abuse This website has quick facts on drugs. It also provides a quick index of questions such as how drugs produce their effects and the medical consequences of these drugs.

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) The DEA provides a wide variety of information on drugs. Look under "Briefs & Background" for "Drug Information" and "State Factsheets."

Streetdrugs This site includes an A-Z index of drugs, the street names, and signs of drugs use.
