Green Sets Meet Record at Rockford-Guilford Invite

Senior Kiante Green set a meet record at the Rockford-Guilford Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. Green’s finishing time of 16:44 was also good enough to hold the Shamrocks to a third place team finish. Other finishers for the Shamrocks included Charlie Labuz (17:02), Tim Ortman (17: 37), Ricky Orozco (18:10), Tim Houston (18:52) and Steve Mendez (19:12). On Sept. 15 the Shamrocks placed fourth at the first ESCC meet. They will compete at the Palatine Invitational this Saturday before tuning up for the next ESCC meet on Sept. 29.
