Saint Patrick High School is proud to announce Adam Nitsche as the school’s Athlete of the Week for the week of September 10 through 16, 2007.  Nitsche, a junior running back on the football team, was honored for his performance in the Shamrocks’ 35-7 victory over Saint Joseph.  Nitsche, a graduate St. Juliana Grammar School, was a one-man wrecking crew against the Chargers, scoring four touchdowns.  Nitsche rushed 21 times for 77 yards and caught two passes for 27 yards.  Nitsche scored on runs of 1, 3, and 5 yards, and he caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from Mike Fabrizio.

On the year Nitsche has carried the ball 45 times for 247 yards and four touchdowns, while catching four passes for 34 yards and one touchdown.
