Saint Patrick High School is proud to announce Tom Barrett as the school’s Athlete of the Week for the week of September 12- 18, 2005. Barrett, the senior quarterback of the Shamrock football team, was honored for his performance in a win over Benet Academy last week.

Barrett completed 14 of 17 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns as the Shamrocks moved to 3-1 with a 49-35 win over Benet. Barrett was on the receiving end of the Shamrocks’ first touchdown, sneaking out of the backfield on a reverse and catching a perfectly thrown ball from Kyle Deitz for a 30-yard score. Through four games this season, Barrett has thrown for 832 yards and 10 touchdowns, while completing 60 percent (55/92) of his passes.
