The Saint Patrick High School golf team ran their record to 7-0 with victories over Marist, Carmel, and Benet last week. On Saturday the Shamrocks placed eighth of twelve teams at the Antioch Invitational.

On Tuesday afternoon the Shamrocks defeated Marist by 18 strokes (154-172). Ryan Hoesley paced the Shamrocks with a one-under-par round of 35. Matt Cermak was one stroke back with an even par 36, and Mike Cermak carded a three-over 39. On Wednesday Saint Patrick pulled out a tight match against Carmel (157-166), with Mike Cermak taking home medalist honors with a one-under par 35. Thursday afternoon the Shamrocks edged Benet Academy by four strokes (159-163). Hoesley again paced the Shamrocks with a one-under par 35. Brian O’Connor led the Shamrocks at Saturday’s Antioch Invitational with a five-over par score of 77

The Shamrocks host Nazareth and Marian Catholic this week, before facing non-conference foe Fenwick on Sunday.
