Twelve Shamrocks to continue football careers in college

Twelve Saint Patrick Shamrocks have committed to play football in college next season, led by East Suburban Catholic Conference Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year, Tim Mayerbock who will play for the Huskies of Northern Illinois next season.
Fullback Kevin Golden will take his talents to College of the Holy Cross in the Patriot League, while E.S.C.C. Defensive Player of the Year, Mark Dietz and center Patrick Graney will play at Joliet Junior College next year. Joliet isn’t the only school getting two Shamrocks next year: Joe Nee and Mike Bertini are going to play at St. Xavier, and Brian Risa and Nick Infante will play for the Regents of Rockford College. Tino Santiago will join the Maroons of the University of Chicago. Mark Pufundt will be an Elmhurst Bluejay, and Dan O’Hagan will play for the Pioneers of Carroll College.
