2008-09 Tryout information
The Saint Patrick Dance Team wasfounded in 1991 with the mission of providing halftime entertainment, promoting school pride & spirit, and acting as ambassadors of Saint Patrick High School.
The young women that comprise these unique teams are committed to this mission on top of the obligations to the local all female Catholic High Schools that they attend.
Due to the continued record level turnout at spring tryouts, the Saint Patrick Dance Team has been expanded into junior varsity (freshman & sophmore) and varsity (junior & senior) level squads.
Specializing in pom, jazz & hip hop style routines, the dance team can be seen performing for halftime at all sophomore and varsity level home Saint Patrick Shamrock football and basketball contests & special events.
The Saint Patrick Dance Team also competes in many dance competitions throughout the season, including the National Dance Team Championship, which is televised on ESPN.
