The Saint Patrick cheerleaders are made up of girls from local all-girls Catholic High schools such as Resurrection, Trinity, Regina, Notre Dame for Girls and St. Scholastica. Some of our veteran varsity members also come from, the now co-ed, Guerin College Prep.

The cheer team has an extremely long season that begins in April and continues through the following March. The Shamrock cheerleaders practice every Tuesday and Thursday evening throughout the summer and into the school year.

The teams cheer at Sophomore and Varsity level home football and basketball games. When they have time during their busy season, the teams also attend a variety of cheerleading competitions in the Chicagoland area.

Try-outs are held each spring for the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. Any girl who will be attending an all-girl Catholic High School the following fall is eligible to try out.
