THE 40 FILM
Saint Patrick High School Religion Department, Campus Ministry, and Shamrocks 4 Life presents the 40 Film.  The Movie Guide says, "Emotionally powerful and educationally stimulating must-see movie"!  The documentary addresses one of the most critical issues of our time... the sanctity of LIFE.  The event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5th at 2:00 P.M. in our Stahl Family Theatre.  For more information or reservations please see Mr. McGovern or your Religion teacher.  Admission is FREE and all are invited. Bring your family, bring a friend.

JUNIOR RETREATS
The list for the remaining Junior Retreats has been posted.  The lists are in Junior Homerooms and on the bulletin board outside Campus Ministry.  Any questions please see Mr. Raho or Mr. Ebrom.

HOMECOMING COURT
Any senior interested in joining the Homecoming Court and running for Homecoming King; please submit a picture of you and your date to Mr. Monroe or Mr. Jilek by TOMORROW.  Voting will be done by seniors during homeroom Friday.

SHAMROCKS 4 LIFE
There will be an open meeting for Shamrocks 4 Life during homeroom and lunch TOMORROW.  Juniors and Seniors will meet during period E and Freshmen and Sophomores will meet during period F.  If you have been to a previous meeting, your name will be on a homeroom pass list.  If you would like to attend for the first time, please see Mr. McGovern, Mr. Dougherty, or Ms. Staudt and we will get you a homeroom pass.  The meeting is open to all.

OPEN MIC NIGHT
It's that time of year again!  Time to get your act ready for Open Mic Night.  During Open Mic Night students and teachers perform poetry, monologues, songs, or other short acts.  All Saint Patrick students and teachers are invited and even if you're not a performer, we hope you still attend.  This fun-filled event takes place October 17th at 7:00 P.M. in the Atrium.  See Ms. Esola, Mr. Arndt or Mrs. Wood for more details.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
Saint Thecla is looking for volunteers to assist with their upcoming Haunted House.  Sign up with Mr. Raho in Room 25 or in the Campus Ministry Office.

COLLEGE FAIR
Saint Patrick High School College Fair is right around the corner.  Monday October 5th from 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. all sophomores, juniors, and seniors and their parents are invited to our 2014 College Fair.  Check the College Events Bulletin Board to see all of the OUTSTANDING Universities and Colleges that will be attending.  Don't miss this opportunity to move along in the college search process.  There will also be an Essay Writing Workshop presented by a representative of one of the top schools in the United States, The University of Chicago.  The workshop will begin at 6:45 P.M. in our cafeteria.  Any questions about these events please contact Mr. McGovern.

JOB OPPORTUNITY
Black Tie Formal Wear is looking for a senior who can work nights and weekends.  Contact Mr. Geraghty in Student Services if you are interested.

HOMECOMING
Homecoming Week is off to a great start.  There are no Homeroom Competitions today due to Missions.  Tomorrow's dress-up day is Chicago Sports Day.   Wear your favorite team's gear.   It is from the waist up only.  The dance is this Saturday in the Saint Patrick Gym.  The tickets are $25.00 a couple and can be purchased from Mr. Jilek in Room 309 or Mr. Monroe in Room 22.  Homecoming t-shirts are $10.00 and can also be purchased from Mr. Jilek or Mr. Monroe.  Cage the Redhawks!
