Scholarships

Saint Patrick High School offers a variety of scholarships designed to help you and your family pay for a high quality, Catholic education. Due to the generosity of our alumni and benefactors, we are able to offer a limited number of tuition grants for families who may be experiencing financial hardship. Scholarships and grants are types of gift aid that do not have to be repaid.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

To be eligible for academic scholarships students must test at Saint Patrick. (Individual circumstances may cause an exception)

All students testing at the 95th percentile or above will receive the International Lasallian Award for Academic Excellence in the amount of $22,000 ($5,500 annually).

All students testing between the 90th and 94th percentile will receive the Saint Patrick Academic Achievement Award in the amount of $14,000 ($3,500 annually). Legacy students will be awarded in the amount of $16,000 ($4,000 annually).

All students testing between the 76th and 89th percentile will receive the Saint Patrick Academic Merit Award in the amount of $10,000 ($2,500 annually). Legacy students will be awarded in the amount of $12,000 ($3,000 annually).

** If a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, only the one with the highest dollar amount will be honored. All scholarships have annual renewal guidelines.

FIRST RESPONDERS SCHOLARSHIP

Students who are the sons of police officers, firefighters or paramedics are eligible to receive the Fr. Thomas A. Mulcrone First Responders Scholarship in the amount of $8,000 ($2,000 annually).

** If a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, only the one with the highest dollar amount will be honored. All scholarships have annual renewal guidelines.

CATHOLIC IDENTITY SCHOLARSHIP

Students who are the sons of Catholic school or parish employees are eligible to receive the Catholic Identity Scholarship in the amount of $8,000 ($2,000 annually).

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

The Legacy Scholarship is available to sons or grandsons of Saint Patrick alumni in the amount of $10,000 ($2,500 annually).

TRADE SCHOLARSHIP

Students who are the sons of affiliated members of local trade organizations are eligible to receive the Trade Scholarship in the amount of $8,000 ($2,000 annually).

THE SAINT PATRICK FAMILY PLAN

The following tuition discounts will be offered to a family with more than one son attending Saint Patrick at the same time: 2nd son- $1,000; 3rd son- $2,000; 4th son- free tuition except for fees.

JOSEPH G. SCHMIDT CADDIE SCHOLARSHIP

Were you a caddie this summer or do you plan on becoming a caddie next summer?

If yes, you may be eligible to apply for the Joseph G. Schmidt Caddie Scholarship! This scholarship will be awarded to students in the amount of $2000 to $5000 dollars based on financial need as provided on your FACTS tuition assistance application, good grades, caddie performance and character.

DANIEL MURPHY SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Daniel Murphy Foundation (DMSF) is a non-profit organization that provides partial four-year high school scholarships for eighth grade students. Applicants must demonstrate academic potential and strong character, financial need, reside within the Chicago city limits or surrounding communities that do not have a strong public school system, and complete the DMSF Financial Information Form. HISIGHT ORGANIZATION

HighSight Organization awards partial four-year scholarships for eighth grade students to attend quality private high schools in Chicago. Applicants must reside within the Chicago city limits, exhibit financial need, take the placement exam and be accepted to the private high school of their choice, attend HighSight’s five-week Freshman Summer Program, and attend Academic study sessions during the school year. HFS CHICAGO SCHOLARS

HFS Chicago Scholars is a non-profit organization that assists economically disadvantaged Chicago inner-city high school students who show academic and leadership promise achieve their educational goals by providing financial assistance and mentoring.  Applicants must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for 7th and 8th grades, average to above average on 7th grade standardized tests in math and reading, evidence of positive academic work ethic, and a demonstration of financial need.  Contact HFS Chicago Scholars at (312) 421-4070 or visit their website at hsfschicagoscholars.com for more information.

STANDING TALL FOUNDATION

Standing Tall Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides the means through which the lives of homeless, underserved and/or at-risk children and disenfranchised families may be improved in order to develop and establish a safe, secure, functional, and productive lifestyle for the well-being of the child and/or for the preservation of the family unit.
