Since a college education is the goal of most students entering Saint Patrick High
School, the College Prep Program has the largest enrollment of the programs offered.
Students in this four-year program are able to take all of the necessary courses required
for admission to state universities in Illinois.
Students (as Freshmen) are placed into the College Prep
Program based on their incoming Placement Test scores and the academic
report from the grammar school. However, a student may begin in the General
(Phoenix) Program or in the Honors Program and then be moved into the
College Prep Program in one or more subjects when it is determined that
his academic needs will be best met in a different academic climate. |
