Flores places 3rd in V.F.W. Essay contest

William Flores recently took third place in the Second District Illinois Veterans of Foreign Wars Voice of Democracy Essay Contest.
For his efforts, Flores was honored with a medal, a trophy, and a cash prize.
Flores advanced to the district competition by winning first place in the Saint Patrick High School V.F.W. Essay Contest. This year’s essay topic was “Celebrating Our Veterans’ Service.” |
