Saint Patrick Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2008

Saint Patrick High School is proud to announce the Shamrock Hall of Fame Class of 2008.  A total of 11 individuals and the members of the rock and roll band New Colony Six will be inducted into the Shamrock Hall of Fame in a ceremony at Porretta’s Banquet Hall on Friday, April 25, 2008.

The Class of 2008 features a wide variety of people who have made unique contributions to Saint Patrick High School, including: Allen J. Belli (Personal Achievement), Anthony D'Andrea ’86 (Baseball), Michael J. Fiandaca ’80 (Football, Wrestling), Terry Frigo ’97 (Basketball), James P. Lynch ’89 (Water Polo), Timothy J. McGarigle ’02 (Football), Edwin J. Meierkort ’77 (Personal Achievement), William Moriarty ’79 (Football, Wrestling), Rudy Presslak (Career Achievement), Paul M. Ridgeway ’02 (Swimming, Water Polo), and Daniel A. Santucci ’02 (Football).  In addition to these individuals, the Shamrock Hall of Fame recognized the six members of the Saint Patrick Class of 1964: Patrick McBride, Raymond J. Graffia, Gary VanKollenburg, Wally Kemp, Greg Kempinski, and James L. Chitkowski who comprised the original lineup of New Colony Six, along with Ronnie Rice, who joined the band in the late 60’s.  The band landed 15 singles on the charts in the 1960’s and early 1970’s.

There are currently 94 individuals, one family and two athletic teams enshrined in the Shamrock Hall of fame.
