World Languages Department Holds Annual Breakfast

The World Languages Department of Saint Patrick High School held their Annual Breakfast on the morning of September 21, 2007. The teachers of the four languages offered at Saint Patrick: Spanish, French, German, and Chinese provided foods native to some of the countries that speak these languages for the breakfast. Students were treated to churros, egg rolls and several other delicacies at the event.
The World Languages Breakfast has become a traditional part of the school’s Annual Walkathon, which took place later that day. On a day when the entire school community, teachers, faculty and staff are going to walk a seven-mile route from Saint Patrick to Wrigley Field, the World Languages Breakfast provided many of the Shamrocks with the fuel they needed for the journey. |
