St. Pat's Welcomes Nine New Faculty Members

Saint Patrick High School welcomed nine new teachers to the faculty for the 2006-07 school year. The administration is proud to add these new teachers to Saint Patrick’s outstanding faculty.
The Science department adds three new teachers that should enhance the Saint Patrick community. Dr. Tim Woods comes all the way from California to join the Shamrocks. Woods is a graduate of Princeton University who earned his PhD. at University of California-Irvine. Woods brings 11 years of teaching experience with him. He will teach Biology and College Biology while serving as an assistant football coach. Russ Jensen will teach Physics and work with the Striker Robotics Team. Jensen holds a degree in Physics from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Kerry Kline is the youngest of the new Science trio. Kline is a graduate of University of Illinois-Chicago who will teach Biology and Chemistry.
Natalie Ziemba joins the English department where she will teach Language Arts, American Literature and British Literature. Ziemba is a graduate of Dominican University who taught at Notre Dame for Girls last year.
Brianna Dahly comes to Saint Patrick from Dominican University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching. Dahly will teach all four levels of French as well as English as a Second Language. Dahly, who completed her student teaching at Riverside-Brookfield High School last year, will also serve as moderator for the French Club. Andrea Schubert will fill in for Stephanie Jensen is on leave. Schubert, a graduate of National-Louis University, will teach German and serve as moderator of the German Club in Jensen’s absence.
Ron Wojnar will teach Keyboarding, Computer Applications, and Accounting as a member of the Business department. Wojnar is a graduate of DePaul University. Steve Eifrid is a 1999 graduate of Saint Patrick who returns this fall to teach Physical Education and Health. Eifrid, who earned his degree from North Park University, will also be a member of the Admissions Team. Additionally, Eifrid will serve as the Head Coach of the sophomore Football team and an assistant coach for the Track & Field team. The final new teacher is Daniel Belasich, a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, who joins the Mathematics department.
