Saint Patrick Recieves Over $200,000 from Adreani Foundation
June 6, 2007

Over the last several years, Ms. Susan Smith and her father, Mr. Raymond Adreani, both of The Adreani Foundation, have supported a total of 13 students in need of financial assistance at Saint Patrick High School.  In addition to helping those 13 students receive an education at Saint Patrick, The Adreani Foundation recently astounded the school and its President, Brother Konrad Diebold, FSC, with a grant of over $200,000.

Half of the grant will be used to establish a financial aid endowment in the Adreani family name.  Endowments support students at Saint Patrick High School in perpetuity.  The other half of the grant will go into a campaign fund for a new student center that will house a new dining facility, an enlarged band room, and some additional classroom space.

Tuition at Saint Patrick High School is $7,600, and the actual cost of education is $9,200 per student.  Additionally, $600,000 is budgeted annually to help over 200 families with tuition assistance for their sons.  The Adreani Foundation is now among a growing number of benefactors who have established $100,000 financial aid endowments.

One of Chicago’s most inclusive service- oriented private secondary schools, Saint Patrick High School is Chicago’s oldest Catholic high school for young men, and for over 145 years it has remained at the forefront of education, ministering to the needs of youth in the Chicagoland area.
