The Science Studio, which encompasses
the Physics Laboratory and Science Technology Center,
are newly renovated facilities that incorporate the latest
in technology, research, and experiment opportunities
for all students. This quarter million dollar project
was completed in 2002 and has evolved into one of the
top high school science facilities on Chicago's northwest
side. The science facility includes:
hands-on science equipment;
student computer-equipped stations;
demonstration station with full
size screen display;
robot design center for STRIKER
team;
fully-equipped aquarium learning
center;
completely networked teacher stations;
electronic research, demonstrations,
presentations via Internet Tl line;
laser discs;
flexCam camera;
digital and audio media;
computer-based technology hardware
and PASCO software for physics, chemistry, biology,
and physical science.
